My Chemical Romance is an American rock band from New Jersey, fronted by lead vocalist Gerard Way alongside Ray Toro, Frank Iero and Mikey Way. Formed in September 2001, they released I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love (2002) on Eyeball Records before signing to Reprise and putting out Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge (2004). Their 2006 rock-opera concept album The Black Parade became their commercial peak, with "Welcome to the Black Parade" topping the UK Singles Chart, followed by Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys in 2010. After breaking up in 2013, the band reunited in 2019 and headlined a major reunion tour in 2022–2023.
