Usher Raymond IV (born October 14, 1978) is an American singer, songwriter, dancer and actor, ranked among the greatest singers of all time by Rolling Stone and the greatest pop stars of the 21st century by Billboard. He released his self-titled debut at 15 and broke through with My Way (1997) and 8701 (2001), but his fourth album Confessions (2004) — the best-selling album by a Black artist of the 21st century — produced four consecutive Hot 100 number-ones including "Yeah!" and "Burn". Billboard named him the number-one Hot 100 artist of the 2000s, and his 2024 Super Bowl LVIII halftime show drew 123 million US viewers.
